LPI paper-based exam and certification in Prague, Linux Days

LPI will hold paper-based exams in Prague, on Saturday, October 6th and Sunday, October 7 th 2018 during the Linux Days.

Besides of the PBT exam, LPI Central Europe will have an info stand at the conference. You are very much welcome to visit and meet LPI representative for any questions or guidance!

  • Saturday, October 6th 2018, two exam sessions: 10 am and 12pm
  • Sunday, October 7th 2018, two exam sessions: 10 am and 12pm

Cost

The paper-based exam is offered by LPI at a special, promotional price - the only chance to get LPI exam at nearly half-price.

The exams have to be paid in cash, in EUR, on the day of the exam. The candidates will get a payment receipt and, under request, an invoice.

The language is selected at the time of registration.

Meeting point for all participants is 15 minutes before the start in the exam room.

Procedure

The exam will be taken in paper form. The candidate will receive their results about four weeks later by e-mail. At a completed certification level, the official documents will be delivered by mail.

Preparation

Examinees need a valid LPI-ID and a Photo ID. If you still do not have an LPI-ID please register to obtain it immediately.

Reminder

To become LPIC-1 certified the candidate must pass the exams 101 and 102.

To become LPIC-2 certified the candidate must have an active LPIC-1 certification and also pass the exams 201 and 202. But the LPIC-1 and LPIC-2 exams may be taken in any order.

Three separate LPIC-3 specialty certifications are available. Passing any one of the three exams will grant the LPIC-3 certification for that specialty.

The candidate must have an active LPIC-2 certification to receive LPIC-3 certification, but the LPIC-2 and LPIC-3 exams may be taken in any order.

Due to the limited number of places available for LPI exams, you need to register for the exam. The exam registration is available.
